About AI Answerphone
AI Answerphone answers phone calls for UK small businesses. When you can't get to the phone, it answers in your business name in a natural British voice, takes the caller's details and enquiry, and sends them straight to you by email, WhatsApp or SMS. Plans start at £47 a month.
Who we are
AI Answerphone is a trading name of Steony Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 17274192). It was founded by Tony Dalton, who designs and builds the service.
Steony Ltd also runs Call2SMS, a missed call text-back service, and Steony, a web design and software studio.
What AI Answerphone does
- Answers every call you divert to it, 24 hours a day, including weekends and bank holidays.
- Asks why the caller is ringing, takes their name and confirms their number, then asks any questions you've set.
- Works out which department the call is for and alerts that department's contacts.
- Answers common questions from the information you give it, and never guesses.
- Sends you a summary and a full written transcript of every call.
What it doesn't do
We'd rather you knew up front. AI Answerphone doesn't book appointments into a calendar, doesn't put callers through to you, doesn't record call audio and doesn't connect to CRMs. It takes the details so you can follow up.
